Beaconhouse Newlands Multan offers its students an extensive co-curricular program that provides them with opportunities of hands-on experience for applying their homeroom learning to real world situations.
The clubs we offer at BNM are:
Fankar Club provides opportunity to students to participate in multiple theatre including comedies, dramas, musicals, plays, etc in both Urdu and English languages. Such activities help students develop coordination, concentration and memory, oratory skills and improve communication and social interaction skills. The children explore their individual talents and feel greater confidence as they discover their abilities. The children also discover the world of art in 3D. They get exposure to different mediums of art and enhance their creativity with various materials.
Sports Club strives to create an inspirational environment for children to engage in various sport activities including Swimming, Kids Athletics, Gymnastics, Aerobics and Martial Arts. Sports also encourage teamwork and fair play, teaching kids’ valuable lessons in cooperation, respect for others, time management and active lifestyle. They learn lifelong lessons about sportsmanship and can enjoy the excitement of competition while understanding it isn’t always about winning, but about participating and giving your best effort.
Environment Club plays an important role in creating environmental awareness amongst the future generation. This fosters a greater understanding of the natural and human environment in which our students operate and the impact they have on it. Our students learn to be better conservationists of their immediate environment. They develop an organic pathway where they grow vegetables and plants, learn do-it-yourself activities. The in-house Bird Aviary helps students develop understanding about natural habitat.
The purpose of the Culinary Club is to provide an environment for students to, socialize, be creative, learn cooking skills, and have fun. Besides awakening the awareness about the nutritional values of different foods, students get an opportunity to develop mathematical and reading skills. Our students develop their own recipe books, learn table etiquette and assist a professional chef in the kitchen.
Robotics is the science and technology of robots, their design, manufacture and application. Robotics increases a child’s spatial visualization skills. It also strengthens their innovative and creative abilities. In BNM AI Club, students will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities and explore at a beginners level, the design and programming process of a robot. Students will work, build and see in 3D through magical magnets, LEGO and B-bots. They will be able to accomplish certain tasks which include but are not limited to, line-following, motor parking, avoiding obstacles and solving real world problems.
